Coral and Mermaids

I broke my pointer finger so I ended up trimming down all my nails but I actually like the look a bit better than when they are really long. I absolutely love how this turned out. I knew I wanted to watermarble ocean currents but I was a bit nervous. I am still not the best at the technique and my middle finger did end up smearing but that's what stamping is for.

I used China Glaze's uv meant to be, dj blue my mind, and Color Club's meet me at the rink for the watermarble background. I did have two coats of Opi's alpine snow down as a base. The bubbles are from bm 505 with Mundo de Unas white. I didn't stamp the bubbles on my middle finger because I knew you wouldn't see them so I went straight in with Opi's cajun shrimp and bm-501 for the coral. The mermaid is Mo-You London Sailor 01 with Mundo de Unas black. Due to having to shrink the image it is a bit smudged. She reminds me of Ariel from the little mermaid when she is singing part of your world.

As always you want to use a good top coat to help prolong your design. My favorite is seche vite. You can get a bit of shrinkage with it so you want to make sure you wrap your tips.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!
