Can I Get An Untz Untz

Last neon glitter from China Glaze's new Electric Nights collection is Can I get an untz untz. The name is atrocious but the glitter is amazing. Just like the other glitters in the collection this works best over a white base. Although it does show up over other colors, it tends to not show all the colored flecks unless over white. I chose not to sponge this one on and just the brush with the bottle. You can see from the photos that you do get a pretty good glitter payoff from just using the brush but if you use a makeup sponge you don't get that buildup from the clear base nearly as bad.

I decided to use some of the other colors from the collection for my accent nail.I do like how well these colors go together. I have found with some collections the colors wind up being inharmonious, so it's nice to see one where they stand alone and together beautifully. The plate, Bp-31 is from Born Pretty Store. I used Mundo de unas black to stamp and filled it in with China Glaze's Daisy know my name, home sweet house music, violet-vibes, treble maker, glow with the flow, and dj blue my name. My white base is two coats of Orly dayglow.I did only use one coat of seche vite for my top coat but you may want to use two as it is a bit of a top coat eater.

Cake Pop and Lollipop Gradient with Stamping

After applying FingerPaints gel like base coat I painted one coat of Orly french white to help my gradient be brighter. I sponged on Orly's cake pop and lollipop for a subtle gradient. Cake pop is very light so it almost appears white but it has a light purple tint to it. Once my colors were dry I used Rica whiteout and bundle monster BM 505 for the shells. I like how you can just barely make them out over top of cake pop. A layer of seche vite completes this look.

Please excuse my dry cuticles. I forgot to put cream on before I took these pictures.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Point Me To The Party

Can all of China Glaze's glitters please be as pretty as the ones from the Electric Nights collection?!? They lay beautifully on the nail, don't require a lot of fighting to get on the brush, and have a multitude of colors and shapes. I did sponge this one over white instead of brushing simply because I wanted to get as many glitter colors as I could on my nails. I will say it definitely isn't necessary. You can easily just use the brush to apply and still get great glitter payoff.

I used several of their cremes for the watermarble accent nail. I started off with using a thin coat of Orly French white as a base for all my nails. For the accent nail I used Daisy know my name?, Treble maker, Uv meant to be, Home sweet house music, Violet-vibes, and Glow with the flow. I do wish the marbling had come out a bit better but oh well. This look is supposed to be all about the glitter anyways.

When you look at the bottle shot to be honest it looks a little plain, but once you actually put this on it is super neon. I see this being my favorite pedicure glitter for the summer. I do have one more glitter from this collection to post but I am still waiting on it to be delivered. Keep an eye out for it in the next couple of posts.
