Lace Stamping with Born Pretty Store Y003

I absolutely love this plate from  Born Pretty Store. I have been wanting to find a nice lace plate and this one definitely fits the bill. I will say that the only real negative thing about the plate is that there is no backing. Most plates come with something on the back that also helps protect the sides from being sharp. I find I have to be careful when handling this one so as not to cut myself. Other then that this plate is amazing. The images are huge so it will fit all nail lengths, they stamp crisp and clear, the designs are stunning. The direct link for this plate is here.

My base color is 3 coats of Orly mirrorball. I applied one thin layer of seche vite to prepare for stamping. To get the lace image I used mundo de unas black with my pueen stamper. You can tell when looking at my ring finger and thumb that I did put a bit too much pressure when applying the stamp which has made the fine lines smear a bit. It has nothing to do with the plate, it picked up crisp, I just made a bit of error when applying.

Pegasus Foiled Shadow Friday

 I want to try something new out on my blog. I wanted to do something called foiled friday. I recently got all the Makeup Geek foiled eye shadows and would like to showcase them. I just had to start with Pegasus because as it has to be one of my all time favorites.

Makeup geek shadow in peach smoothie in as my transition shade, makeup geek wisteria,(new and old formula) with too faced ooh la orchid with dark purple from morphe 35 palette to deepen up my crease, and the star of the show of makeup geek foiled shadow in pegasus. My highlight color is super mom from the tarte tartelette palette. I used it to help blend out the purples as well. 

On the lower lash line I applied pegasus and blended it out with both wisterias and peach smoothie. Mascara on the top lash is No.7 fanomenal lashes and bottom lashes is No.7 stay perfect.

Neon Dry Brush (Matte)

You can check out my original post of these with a glossy top coat here. I added a coat of Essie matte about you which I feel like almost tones down the neon colors a bit.

Neon Dry Brush (Glossy)

Two coats of Opi Alpine Snow as my base coat. I used a thin layer of Out of the door top coat to help speed up drying time. Once completely dry I dry brushed Pipe Dream Polish's all in and high roller. In case you couldn't tell I am in love with these colors. They are so opaque and bright. I want a million back ups.

I used Mundo de Unas black with plate BM 201 to stamp on the chevrons. To avoid smearing I waited a bit longer than usual before applying top coat. For this look I used Seche Vite.
