Slimy Eyes

Being as it's the first day of October, the time has come for my first Halloween look of 2015. I am not going to lie, Halloween isn't my favorite holiday. My husband loves it but I on the other hand am all about Christmas. I have a few other ideas rattling around my head so this won't be my only look this year though. I kind of wanted to do something simple but yet still said Halloween. Going through my stamping plates I found Bundle Monster's holiday 06 plate and realitzed I had never used it. What better way to kick off the season than with some slimy eyes.

I used one thin coat of Opi's Apline Snow as a base for my orange which is Orly's Orange Punch. Using BM-H06 and Mundo de Unas Avocado I stamped the image and left it on my stampers. To fill in the center I used Fresh Paint's Burning Flame and Orly's French White. Since I left the image on my stampers so long filling in the colors I applied INM Out the Door over top to help it stick to my nail.

After cleaning up my cuticles I applied Kb Shimmer Quick Dry Top Coat before I finally applied Essie's Matte About You. I will say my camera absolutely hated the orange. With the color being so bright I had a hard time trying to capture an accurate photo so if they look a bit off I do apologize.

Easter Mani Ideas

A few days ago Nailstamp4fun posted this amazing mani of Easter eggs. As soon as I saw it I thought I would give the plate another go. Due to my short nails I have always felt that the image was a bit big for my nails, I am very pleased with how my second attempt came out.

Base colors are Color Club (Cc) Twiggie, Cc Pucci-licious, China Glaze(Cg) Hanging in the balance, and Milani Hot pink rage
Stamping plate is BM H10 used with Rica Whiteout
Seche Vite as top coat

I did a few other Easter looks that I thought I would share as well. I kept the majority of the nails the same and just changed out the accent nail.

Base color is Orly Dayglow
Dots are Cc Modern pink, Cc Take me to your chateau, Cg Peachy keen, Cg Sun upon my skin, Fresh Paint (Fp) Passion fruit and Fp Honeydew
Accent nail is Pipe Dream Polish Light of day for the chick and Cg Peachy keen for the beak, Rica Whiteout and Blackout for the eyes
Seche Vite as top coat

Accent nail is Fp Passion fruit as a base

Cinderella Nails

Up next in my Disney Princess series is Cinderella. I just wanted to keep this one simple. Nothing too elaborate. The stamp on my middle finger came out a bit crooked but that's ok.

The base color for all of my nails is the gorgeous Fresh Paint Glass Slipper. As soon as I saw it I knew instantly I wanted it for this look. I used two plates from Mo-You London Tourist collection, 03 and 21. No Place Like Chrome was used to stamp the glass slipper and Klean Color Black for the silhouette. This polish is a Semi-Matte finish wish I am not a huge fan of so I applied Seche Vite to help gloss it up a bit.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!
