Sapphire Jewels

I brought out my absolute favorite blue in my collection for a little bright cheerfulness with all the rain we have been getting here lately.

China Glaze's I Sea The Point is the most stunning cobalt blue there is. I have been searching high and low for another polish this color as mine is a little old.

I pulled out another oldie but goodie, Essie's No Place Like Chrome for my stamping.

I can't seem to stay away from my Uber Chic plates and today is no exception. I used 1-03 for these shiny jewel style looking nails.

This blue is so hard to capture true color on camera and even with editing it still is hard. I tried to get it as true to color as possible. Of coarse the only top coat I use is Glisten and Glow's.

Matte Whimsical Nails with Kb Shimmer I Wet My Plants

I ordered some new polishes from Kb Shimmer and I am head over heels in love. The three I purchased are all a crelly consistency. I plan to do a look with each polish. They are just too pretty to not to a separate post for each one.

For my first post I wanted to showcase I Wet My Plants. It is a dusty lavender base with purple, pink and silver hexagons, along with tiny pink and silver micro glitters. To get a fully opaque look I used three coats of polish. I applied a layer of Hk Girl Top Coat before stamping.
For the stamping I used this gorgeous metallic purple polish from Fingerpaints called Rock Hard Lilac. The design is from Mo-You London's Sailor 04 plate. Before applying Essie's Matte About You I did apply another layer of Hk Girl to avoid smearing you can sometimes get from matte top coats.

Copper Autumn Leaves

As you can see by the sad state of my nails I have been having a lot of breaks over the past few weeks. I apologize for taking so long in between posts but they were honestly such bad breaks, all the way down past the quick, that I didn't really want to fool with them at all. I have finally nursed them back to the point where they aren't totally ratchet looking with nail art. They still have a ways to go before back to a good length but I should be able to keep doing nail art from now on.

I started out using two coats of Opi My Vampire is Buff for the nude base. While I was letting it dry I went in with plate BM-H11 from Bundle Monster and Mundo de Unas black and stamped all the leaves on the multiple stamp heads I have. It saves a bunch of time doing it over on several stamper heads as opposed to having to do it one nail at a time. I filled in the center of the leaves with Essie's Penny Talk and then went in with Orly's Flagstone Rush to fill in the rest of the leaves. By the time the stamp was dry to the touch my base color was dry as well. I used firm pressure to stamp the image on to my nails. Since it was minimal clean up all I did was take a brush and some acetone to the bits on my skin. After I pressed every loose piece down with my finger I went in with Kb Shimmer Quick Dry Topcoat to finish all my design.

Slimy Eyes

Being as it's the first day of October, the time has come for my first Halloween look of 2015. I am not going to lie, Halloween isn't my favorite holiday. My husband loves it but I on the other hand am all about Christmas. I have a few other ideas rattling around my head so this won't be my only look this year though. I kind of wanted to do something simple but yet still said Halloween. Going through my stamping plates I found Bundle Monster's holiday 06 plate and realitzed I had never used it. What better way to kick off the season than with some slimy eyes.

I used one thin coat of Opi's Apline Snow as a base for my orange which is Orly's Orange Punch. Using BM-H06 and Mundo de Unas Avocado I stamped the image and left it on my stampers. To fill in the center I used Fresh Paint's Burning Flame and Orly's French White. Since I left the image on my stampers so long filling in the colors I applied INM Out the Door over top to help it stick to my nail.

After cleaning up my cuticles I applied Kb Shimmer Quick Dry Top Coat before I finally applied Essie's Matte About You. I will say my camera absolutely hated the orange. With the color being so bright I had a hard time trying to capture an accurate photo so if they look a bit off I do apologize.

Girly Roses

I am not going to lie, Bundle Monster's BM 323 has to be one of my favorite plates of all time. There are a million color combos you use for roses. I know I just did a look with this plate a few posts ago but I can't seem to not use it all the time.
Opi's Mod About You is such a perfect pastel pink shade. I will say that it is a bit touchy of a formula, it tends to streak a bit, but it is just too pretty not to use. I always like to use a quick dry top coat on my base color before stamping to speed up drying time. I used Essie's Double Breasted Jacket to stamp with. The color changes a bit once you stamp with it, but I like how it came out all the same. My favorite top coat of choice has been Kb Shimmer's Quick Dry Top Coat.

Nude to Neon Gradient

Essie Sand Tropez and Kb Shimmer Bahama Drama as my gradient with
Kb Shimmer Quick Dry Top coat

I wanted to quickly apologize for being so absent within the past couple of months. There has been a lot going on that made sitting down for nails almost impossible. We are finished with our remodeling so I should be able to go back to having down time again. Thank you to all those who are still with me, rather it be here, my instagram, or my facebook. I appreciate your support so much, It's what keeps me going. Also I am hoping to resume my Foiled Shadow Fridays again here soon. I am having some kind of reaction to my contacts but my Dr. is working on getting it fixed. So hopefully this week or next I will have a new look for you. Once again Thank You so much for your understanding and support. I love you all!
