Sapphire Jewels

I brought out my absolute favorite blue in my collection for a little bright cheerfulness with all the rain we have been getting here lately.

China Glaze's I Sea The Point is the most stunning cobalt blue there is. I have been searching high and low for another polish this color as mine is a little old.

I pulled out another oldie but goodie, Essie's No Place Like Chrome for my stamping.

I can't seem to stay away from my Uber Chic plates and today is no exception. I used 1-03 for these shiny jewel style looking nails.

This blue is so hard to capture true color on camera and even with editing it still is hard. I tried to get it as true to color as possible. Of coarse the only top coat I use is Glisten and Glow's.

Parisian Stamped Nails

It's been a while since I have done a baggie method look so when I sat down to do my nails I wanted to do something colorful. I like how you can get a marbled effect without making much of a mess.

I used one coat of China Glaze Friends Forever, Right? as a light pink base for the marbling. I like to cut up pieces of a plastic bag to use for all the different colors. Once my base was dry I balled up a piece of bag of dabbed on Color Club Meet Me At The Rink and Feathered Hair Out To There, China Glaze Bottoms Up, and Kb Shimmer In Yacht Water. I dabbed on each color several times to overlap and get the desired look I wanted. To help smooth everything out for stamping I applied a thin layer of quick dry top coat. I used Mundo De Unas Black with stamping plates Tourist 3 from Mo-You London and W206 from Winstonia. After a few minutes of dry time I applied Kb Shimmer Quick Dry Top Coat to seal everything in.

Simple Baby Shower Nails

Yesterday one of my best friends for forever had her baby shower. I can not wait for her little girl to make her grand appearance, but until then I'll just have to paint my nails for her. I wanted something simple to wear instead of my usual bright in your face nails. I  love this color from Orly, it is quite possibly one of my favorites from them. It goes on smooth and only takes two coats. I also broke out my tried and true glistening snow for my accent nail. I had forgotten how sparkly and twinkly it is.

Two coats of Orly lollipop
Three coats of China Glaze glistening snow
Plate BM-H21 with Mundo de unas black
Sally Hansen 3D gel top coat
Seche vite top coat
