Hibiscus Nails

I was really hoping that it would be a more noticeable difference for my gradient but these are still pretty.

The hot pink is Blushing Queens and the coral is Bam both by Cirque Colors. I did put a white base down just to make them more vibrant.

UberChic Beauty's plate Nice & Negative plate has the perfect hibiscus negative space stamp. I used Mo You London Black Knight to stamp.

Floral Chevrons

Another new Zoya Summer polish is Jessica. Its a bluish medium purple. It was a little patchy on the first coat but second gave it full opacity and smoothed out the ridges.

The chevrons are from UberChic's Got Chevrons plate and stamped with MoYou Londons Periwinkle.

The flowers are from Maniology M019 and done with MoYou White Knight.

Glisten and Glow top coat for the super shiny finish.

ILNP Bluebird

I can not seem to get enough of this Hatched collection from ILNP. I will probably end up doing a look with each color.

This beauty is called Bluebird. Very fitting name. I will say these polishes do look the best in three coats. Something about that third coat just makes them look even creamier.

I had a rough time getting this stamp to work with me. I probably had to stamp and fill it at least 12 times. For some reason the original colors I wanted just didn't look right or the polish wouldn't dry and it would smear awful.

I used this beautiful floral plate from What's Up Nails B044 for the flowers and filled in using Glisten & Glow Eyes White Open, Zoya Lief, the black is Painted Polish Midnight Mischief.

Of coarse to finish off the look I used HK girl topcoat by Glisten & Glow.

ILNP Starlight

This stunning beauty is Starlight by ILNP or I Love Nail Polish. The recently released their latest collection of these incredible spring colors with these tiny flakies inside called the Hatched collection.

Starlight is a light aqua polish with these green/turquoise flakies.

I will say these polishes are a bit on the jelly side, which allows the flakies to really be seen. Due to that you can get pretty good coverage in two coats but three will give you the best pay out in color and ultimate flakie coverage.

After my three creamy coats I went in with Painted Polish's Midnight Mischief and Bundle Monster BM-615 plate for the flowers.

Topped it off with Glisten and Glow Top Coat of coarse for extra high shine.

How else loves those pretty blue orchids that you always see in stores?? I just think they are so delicate and dainty. We all know that they aren't natural but they are so pretty that it doesn't matter. I did these nails with the orchids in mind.

I sponged on Color Club meet me at the rink and under the blacklight
The orchids are from Mo-You London pro 07 with Orly royal navy

Neon Half Moons

#WNAC or Weekly Nail Art Challenge has come up with their theme for May and its Neon...YAY!! Neons are so on trend right now. There are ton of companies that just came out with amazing neon polishes so participating in this challenge gives me the chance to play around a bit more with them and try new ideas. First challenge is half moon. I wanted to go with something a bit more detailed then just your plain polished half moon. I am in LOVE with these bad boys. I am pretty sure my eyes crossed while filling in the color but that is totally ok to get such a pretty end result.

Base color is two coats of Opi Alpine Snow to help make the colors pop. The flowers are stamped with Mundo de unas black from plate BM-616. I used all Pipe Dream Polishes to fill in the design. The yellow is light of day, green is high roller, and the blue is all in. To make sure they were opaque I colored the image twice before applying out the door top coat to make a decal. After applied to my nails with tweezers, I used one coat of seche vite and one coat of out the door to try to smooth out the air bubbles. You can still see them a bit in the photos but I still think they are stunning to look at.

These colors are currently out of stock on her website but you could use any bright neon colors to do this look. The China Glaze electric nights collection would be a great alternative.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Mani Spam

I have a few photos of some manis I have done recently that I didn't think really warranted a blog posting on their own but I still wanted to share them. First up I have a floral design I did a couple days ago. I had originally painted my nails with Opi's You're Such a Budapest. I honestly wish I had just left it as it was. It is one of my favorite purples. The formula is a bitch though. I used several colors of acrylic paints to do the actual design.

Next up I have a paisley design. My base color is Opi's Mod About You. Another gorgeous color with a pain in butt formula. You have to float the brush over your nail to avoid brush strokes in the polish. The stamping image is from Bundle Monster Plate BM315. As per usual I stamped with Konad Black stamping polish.

Lastly I have this Parisian theme mani. After two thin coats of Opi's Alpine Snow I went in with the first stamping plate Cheeky plate Ch6. I used Color Club's Modern Pink to do the stamping. I do wish I had used the pink as a base color and stamped with white instead. Maybe I will redo this and swap the colors around. Once it was dry I used China Glaze's Manhunt with Winstonia plate W114 to add the Eiffel tower. Now I can admit that I kept having so much trouble trying to get the tower where I wanted it. I redid both of my ring fingers at least three times each. I still wasn't 100% happy with my left hand but as it was 3 am I decided to throw in the towel. I love the combo of the pink and blue. I will definitely being using those colors together again in the near future.

*All of the manis have a coat of Glisten and Glow HK Girl Topcoat
