Sweater Pattern Nails

I had this idea in my head of doing another sweater type of look, but I wanted it to be a bit different. I finally came up with sweater patterns. Every time I have gone shopping lately I end up seeing sweatshirts with just patterns. Why not apply that same concept to nails?

Super Mario Bros.

I did get a little inpatient so my poor little Luigi has some smears but overall I am pretty stoked about this look. It was my first time making decals instead of directly stamping. I think next time I will use a thinner coat of top coat to make the decal. When I was applying them I noticed it was a bit thick and I had to use two coats on top to get the sticker to lay down. Just goes to show that I am always learning through trial error.

Base colors are Opi Put a Coat On with China Glaze Capacity to See Beyond
Mario is stamped with Rica Blackout and filled with Opi Samoan Sand and Chick Flick Cherry
Luigi is stamped the same and filled with Opi Samoan Sand and China Glaze Four Leaf Clover

Mushrooms are stamped with Opi Put a Coat On and filled with Opi Chick Flick Cherry
Arrows are Opi Put a Coat On
Top Coats used are Inm Out the Door, Seche Vite, and Hk Girl
Stamping plates are Mo-You London Back to the 90's 01, Winstonia W110 for schrooms,

Aqua Floral Stamping Mani

I just can not seem to let summer go..all I want to do is use bright colors. Is that wrong? I played around with one of my favorite techniques..sponging. I love layering different colors over top of one another. It gives it this tie dye appeal I feel like. My aqua stamping polish from Mundo de Unas was just calling my name so I figured what better color to put it over then purple. I laid down my darker purple first before I went in an sponged on the lighter color. To give a little more depth I sponged the darker color on top as well. Finished it off by stamping then adding top coat.

Polished used: Duri Rejuvacote, China Glaze Lotus begin, Color Club Pucci-licous
Stamping plate: Ga30 with Mundo de unas #24 aqua
Top coat: Inm Out the door(after purple polishes)and G;isten and Glow Hk girl
Hope you all are having a wonderful day!

What Day Is It? Hump Day!

I just had to do something funny today. Given that it was Wednesday what would be better then camels. I went in with a very subtle gradient as my base. Unfortunately I don't own a camel color polish. I will have to rectify that!

I use two very similar brown's from Orly for the gradient. I added a layer of top drying top coat to help blend the colors before I stamped. Once it was dry I went in with black and stamped on the camels. I am still working on getting my placement right with the design. My pinkie wasn't quite big enough to fit the whole camel on. I wish I had shrunk him but too late now. After I was finished stamping I felt like it was still missing something so I went in with a sand like glitter. I did the french by hand so they aren't perfect but that's okay.

Polishes: Duri Rejuvacote as base color, Orly's Coffee break and Prince charming for gradient, China Glaze I Herd That for french tip
Stamping Plate: Gals plate #45 stamped with Konad black
Top Coat: IMN Out the Door
